The Locauto office in Florence is located in Via Maso Finiguerra, 400 meters from Santa Maria Novella railway station. CAR RETURN INSTRUCTIONS To drop-off your vehicle in Florence Downtown rental office you will have to reach our “Car Return” point at Parking Garage Excelsior, located in Via Palazzuolo 94. To reach the parking you will have to go through a ZTL pass (Limited Traffic Zone) situated at the beginning of Via Di Santa Lucia: no problem, no fee will be charged to you! Locauto Rent will pay the entrance fee into ZTL, only if these conditions are respected: - The access into the ZTL area must be done only for the drop off of the vehicle to our “Car Return” point at Parking Garage Excelsior (others entrances for personal purposes are not covered) - The access into the pass ZTL is done only through Via Maso Finiguerra - The access into the pass ZTL results within and not later 3 hours from the drop off of the car Excluding these cases the access into the pass ZTL is not allowed and it is fined by the municipality of Florence. Therefore, please strictly observe these instructions to drop-off your car. We remember you that the ZTL restriction is active from Monday to Sunday from 6.00 to 23.00.

Young driver's age: 21 to 24 years. Charge 21.6 EUR per day. Includes 22% tax
Customers who fall outside the age limitations will not be able to hire a car unless there is a young or senior driver fee specified in this section. Please note that if applicable, this fee will be included in the rental price and will be payable on arrival at the rental desk in the local currency.

Cross Border rentals may only be taken into the following countries:
Vatican City, San Marino, France, Spain, Andorra, Gibraltar, Portugal, United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg, The Principality of Monaco, Switzerland, Austria, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Liechtenstein, Slovenia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Slovakia.

Renter shall not use or drive the vehicle nor allow that someone else use or drive the vehicle in any country that is not listed above.
Please note insurance coverage may change if you travel to areas Catania, Campania and Puglia - please check with the car rental agent before you travel.
Please check with the rental provider in advance that the vehicle has the proper equipment in accordance with local traffic rules of the country or region you intend to travel to (e.g. Winter tyres).
